The Epson ET-2750 is a nice printer/scanner/copier combo, with ecotanks of ink so I don’t need to faff with ink cartridges (which was the main reason I bought it)
The scanning ability has several options, including to a memory card. But obviously being able to initiate and control the scan from my desktop and save to a local file is preferred and this can be done by installing the sane-airscan package from the Mint package manager. This installs the required Web Services for Devices (WSD) service in linux, and with that I can scan with any program using WSD. Nice and simple, and works.
