Not the best of the Brosnan Bonds but still good, fast paced and fun and since it was in the bargin bin at Asda… Captured by the North Koreans, Bond is eventually exchanged but is branded a traitor. The mission: escape MI6, find out who set him up and expose the real mole. Oh and stop a mad man launching North Korea on an attack southwards using a space based weapon (no baddie should be without one)

The gadgets are rather lame in this one, I guess when the gadgets can really be built they are no longer interesting. Halle Berry does a cool turn as Jinx, Americas agent in the plot who is as effective as Bond, but *still* needs rescuing by him (twice!)

And despite Halle’s best efforts Ursula Andress still wins the emerging-from-the-sea-in-a-bikini contest. Sorry Halle.
