Brosnan takes on the role of James Bond trying to track down the baddies who’ve stolen a powerful space weapon - the goldeneye.

And a cracking job he does too in an excellent Bond flick. The tank chase through St.Petersburg is just brilliant. My only gripe is the usual rubbish portrayal of slob computer geeks and implausible computer technology. After the rather flat scripts for Timothy Dalton’s Bond, the franchise seems to have got back on track big time. And Xenia Onatopp (Janssen) is the perfect sexy/deadly Bond girl combo.

Very enjoyable Bond fare.
