I think I first read this years ago as a graphic novel and that was my introduction to the Diskworld. So I bought this to fill in the library.

As the first in a vast series it has slight weakness’ and lacks some of the later more rounded writing and characters, but make no mistake it is still very good - and Rincewind the incompetent wizard is a great character!
