I’m not a big fan of the Star Trek movies, they always seem terribly weak, relying on sentimentality towards the well known characters. But this, number two in the franchise stands out well possibly because they included a quality actor (Montalban) He provides a gripping enemy to Kirk and some great screen presence. Definitely the better of the Trek movies.
