Recently took a short trip with my Mom to the top end of Scotland to see a bit of scenery. She’s always wanted to see that part of the world, so we arranged this holiday.
Booked a weeks apartment in Nairn near Inverness in Scotland and hired a car up there so we could get around. We flew up which involved a very early start but worth it to avoid a 9 hour train journey >uggh!<. While most days were out in the car, I got a day in the scenery with a hire bike to cycle to Culloden. So that was the day it rained. A lot. Otherwise generally fine if dull weather. Drove back down to Kelso on the Borders to spend a day with some family friends and then drove back down to the Midlands.
The photos were taken with my new camera, a FujiFilm finepix S2500HD. I’m still getting to grips with it so I’m not sure I always got the best settings for the scenes. But good enough.
