I’d wanted some mobile computing for a while so that I could at least write things while travelling or visting. While feasible on a phone it’s not really practical. Combined with a desire for a digital pen surface for some arty scribbling as well the Galaxy TabS7+ seemed like nice solution.

Overall I’m impressed. Adding a separate kickstand and bluetooth keyboard and it’s very possible to have a properly functional text processing environment. It is however just a sized up Samsung phone so although I haven’t inserted a SIM it does have all the usual Samsung android bloatware which is annoying. I plan to get around to removing the installed extras. Using the google apps means anything created on there is available back to my PC if wanted. So it’s all job done, a nice bit of kit.
