The materials for the dissertation M801 arrived today. Always exciting to open a box on a new course. Read the various paperwork bits, and skim read the intro and part one of the study guide.

Mostly its providing some details on stuff I’m aware of and I’ll go back to it if needed. I don’t need to memorise the section of “Citations and references” untill I have to write one… The materials arrival really brings home a sense of a bus leaving (with or without me), think I’d better get running and back into study routine quickly.
